1.2 Motorsport Telemetry Data (Core Data)

We collect and process performance data generated during motorsport activities, including:

GPS Data

  • Timestamp data

Vehicle Dynamics Data

  • IMU data (acceleration, gyroscope)
  • Derived metrics (e.g. lean angle)
  • Barometric pressure data

1.3 Third-Party Device and File Data

When using USB connection or importing external files, we may process:

  • .sa files or similar third-party telemetry formats
  • Lap timing data
  • Sensor logs
  • Track metadata

👉 This processing is performed solely for interoperability and data analysis purposes.

We do not attempt to access encrypted, authenticated, or protected components of third-party devices.

Cloud Services (if enabled)

3. Data Storage and Sharing

3.1 Storage

  • Local data remains on your device
  • Cloud data is stored only when Cloud Sync is enabled

3.2 Data Sharing

We do NOT sell personal data.

We may share limited data with:

  • Cloud service providers
  • Infrastructure and hosting providers
  • Analytics providers (strictly for service operation)

We never share data for advertising purposes.

3.3 User Control

You may:

  • Enable or disable Cloud Sync at any time
  • Delete stored data
  • Export telemetry data
  • Delete your account

4. Interoperability and Third-Party Data

XLAP STUDIO supports interoperability with third-party motorsport systems, including:

  • SpeedAngle .sa format
  • GPS loggers
  • External telemetry devices

👉 We do NOT:

  • Reverse engineer protected device authentication
  • Circumvent encryption or security mechanisms
  • Claim ownership of third-party proprietary formats

All imported data remains owned by the user or original data owner.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

  • HTTPS encryption
  • Secure cloud storage isolation
  • Access control systems
  • Encrypted credential storage

However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

XLAP STUDIO does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or applicable local minimum age).

If you are a minor, you must use this service under parental or guardian supervision.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers located outside your country. By using our services, you consent to such transfers.

By using XLAP STUDIO, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

XLAP STUDIO provides motorsport telemetry and lap timing services, including:

  • GPS track recording
  • Lap timing and analysis
  • Vehicle sensor data processing
  • Cloud synchronization (optional)
  • Third-party data import (e.g. .sa files)

2. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 13 years old (or legal minimum age in your region)
  • Provide accurate account information
  • Be responsible for account activity

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
  • Interfere with system operation
  • Attempt unauthorized access to servers or devices
  • Manipulate or falsify telemetry data
  • Use the system for illegal purposes

👉 Permitted:

  • Import third-party telemetry files
  • Use for personal or commercial motorsport analysis
  • Interoperability with supported devices

4. User Data Ownership

You retain full ownership of all raw data generated or imported, including:

  • GPS telemetry
  • Sensor data
  • Lap timing data
  • Imported .sa or external files

5. License to Use Data

You grant XLAP STUDIO a limited license to:

  • Process data for core functionality
  • Generate analysis results
  • Provide cloud synchronization (if enabled)

This license is non-exclusive and revocable upon account deletion.

6. Third-Party Compatibility

XLAP STUDIO supports interoperability with external systems such as:

  • SpeedAngle
  • GPS loggers
  • Third-party telemetry formats

👉 We do NOT:

  • Claim ownership of third-party protocols
  • Provide device emulation or authentication bypass
  • Guarantee full compatibility with all formats

7. Cloud Services

  • Cloud Sync is optional and disabled by default
  • Users may enable or disable at any time
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE”.

We do not guarantee:

  • Accuracy of telemetry data
  • GPS signal stability
  • Compatibility with third-party devices
  • Continuous availability of cloud services

👉 Motorsport data is for informational purposes only and must not be used as a safety-critical system.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Data loss or corruption
  • Hardware damage
  • Business or financial loss

Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user in the past 12 months.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

  • Terms are violated
  • Abuse or misuse is detected
  • Required by law

Users may delete their account at any time.

11. Intellectual Property

All XLAP STUDIO software, UI design, and system architecture remain the property of XLAP STUDIO.

Users may not copy, distribute, or resell the system without authorization.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable local laws of the service operator jurisdiction.
